讲述择要：Symmetries, local groups of transformations, were introduced by Sophus Lie in the 1880s in order to study solutions of ordinary differential equations. It is evidential that symmetries are essential in solving differential equations. For instance, almost all solvable differential equations have symmetries behind the mystery. In this talk, we will give a simple introduction to continuous symmetries and conservation laws, conserved quantities, of differential equations.
